Marriage/Nikah Services
A licensed Nikah/ Marriage officiant is required to complete the necessary paperwork to register the marriage in the Province of Ontario.

General information about marriage:
Marriage License Document if needed: Go to your nearest city hall (both wife/husband to be) clerks office with identification and obtain a marriage license
Guardian (Wali): The Bride should be represented with her Wali who is a male relative /guardian.(optional )
Witnesses: Two adult (baligh) male Muslims.
Dower (Mahr/Bridal gift) – Dower to be paid by the man should be discussed and agreed upon by both parties before the Nikah ceremony.
